- Students in their first semester at the University are able to take EDHE 105 (First Year Experience) or EDHE 305 (Transfer Year Experience) as a 3-hour course.
- FYE also oversees the Ole Miss Opportunity Scholars Program, the Transfer Leadership Organization, works with Convocation, and with the transition from high school (or a different university/community college) to being a student at the University of Mississippi.
